Cinderellabration is boring

What a disappointment this show was. The Surprise Celebration was alot of fun- there was a story to it (sort of), some dramatic tension, and alot of different characters. In Cinderellabration NOTHING happens! A bunch of princesses come out, dance a little, they stick a crown on Cindy's head and it's over. THIS is the great import from Tokyo?

My DD loves princesses, so she was happy to see this, but it certainly won't be something we see over and over. And if you have little boys with you, forget it- I can't believe they would find anything interesting here.

It's a real shame that they took away a fun show and replaced it with this. (Of course, this isn't the first time it's happened, is it?)

I agree. I prefer Belle's Storytime much more. The interaction with kids and Belle is enjoyable to watch. The only upside to Cinderbration- more people watching that- means less people in line for ride.

As a mother of 3 boys, sadly enough I have to say that this is true of all sorts of things at WDW, not just Cinderellabration.

I think they could capitalize on the PotC success (& the upcoming sequels) by doing a show based on that. But where would they locate it...

OH BOY! Yeah I've been hearing bad reviews from just about everywhere. I'm going to see it on our next trip though.

Although Cinderellabration was beautiful, I definatly prefer the Surprise too, it was way better. And like another poster wrote Disney is very short on things for little boys, as much as I love Disney this bothers be to no end.

Thanks for the update- we'll be there Friday... I won't waste my time there! DD11 is bored by the princesses anyway, and DS8 would only enjoy the show if they were driving monster trucks.

I had read some negative reviews on this show before we left, but decided to give it a shot. We stopped to check it out one morning, and before all the princesses even came out, our girls were already bored. I asked them if they wanted to stay or go, and the unanimous decision was to GO. We weren't the first to leave either. Lots of people had already walked away before us, and that wasn't even 10 minutes into the show!

I wasn't interested in this because it didn't appear to have any seating or shade. It would be quite miserable to sit or stand on the hot cement with the sun beating down on you. I could be wrong, but that is what it looked like. Plus, I saw a bit on Regis and Kelly and it didn't look that great. We passed right on by and went to see Philharmagic.

It was already. A typical castle stage show. Nothing spectacular. My understanding is the Tokyo version takes place at night with fireworks etc. This is a much more low budget production.

I enjoyed it. I loved the costumes and the songs. Dh and Ds(11) were bored. Viewing it once was enough for them. There is just so much "princessness" at Disney and so little geared towards the boys. I'd like to see more "boy" shows. I agree lets see some POTC!

I'm for a POTC theme show. A Jack Sparrow look alike would definitely bring in tons of female fans...
