Cinderella Toaster $16

I went to K-Mart today, not one of my favorite stores normally but I was having trouble finding Peeps (believe it or not, and they too were sold out, but that is not the point!) Anyway, I had a little time so I decided to walk around. On a clearance rack was a stainless steel Cinderella toaster. It leaves her slippers toasted into your toast and sings when the toast pops up. It was marked $32, and my toaster has been on the fritz so I considered it. I was thinking if only it was a little cheaper so I decided to scan it, you never know, right? Well, it rang up $16! Like I said, I needed a new toaster anyway, so I was very happy to get it.

Well, I thought since you all love a deal (like me) and you all love Disney (like me) that I should share. Hope if you are interested you too can get this deal.

I got mine several years ago at WoD in NYC. Funny thing is it wasn't a deal, pretty pricey in fact. So I didn't want to pay to have it shipped home. It was my first store of the day shopping. I lugged that waffle iron all day (like 15 hours) through the streets on NYC. Plus we were only there for a day shopping trip so it was by no means the only thing I was carrying. But I felt like I saved some money by not shipping it home so that was my "deal".

I got the Cinderella waffle iron for about $10 a couple years ago at, of all places, Home Depot. It was on a clearance. Now we have Mickey and Cinderella waffles.

I hope you find it, it makes breakfast so much fun!

That's a great deal on your princess toaster! I love running into stuff like that.

Just today I was looking for Mickey waffle Iron, you know, the one that makes one giant Mickey head. I had seen them at JC Penney a while back, but didn't get one then for whatever reason.

Through a bunch of web surfing, I discovered that they recalled all of them because of an electrical problem.

They have another one now that I don't think is nearly as cute. It makes 5 bitesize characters. Here's a link:

Wow! I didn't know about the recall (mine is the one big face one). Scary, but I don't think I can part with mine. I never leave it unattended but I guess now I should keep a fire extinguisher near by! Thanks for passing the info on...

OH, I am happy to say mine was not in the recall. I wondered because it said it was recalled in 1999 but I went to NYC Christmas 2002. Mine has just a 2 prong plug, not 3. Now I feel better. That new one with the 6 faces is cute though, I might have to watch if it goes on sale...
