I love your pictures! I am definitely going to try one of the orange slushies at Epcot this trip. I had the Lemon one in October, and it was good, but I think I might like the orange one better. DH says it's a good thing we won't be driving anywhere on our Epcot Day . A benefit of just the adults going because I really don't like to drink in front of the girls.

This trip I'm also making it a point to see more of the fireworks and parades. Anna wasn't really interested in them, so we missed a lot last time. We didn't see any of Illuminations.

It's exciting that you got to meet even more DIS members than you were planning on meeting. I'm hoping to do a meet up this trip, but one of my best friends is someone that I met on a mommy board when I was pregnant with Addyson. We've met up several times (with our kiddos) and have lots of fun together.

you should try the peach oolong tea in china too. it's frozen as well and it's REALLY good! meets at disney are so fun! it's always good when you can make them. sometimes things happen where they don't pan out. that's happened to me a couple of times. but it's fun to meet people you feel like you know!

What a fun night -- meeting Glendamax, eating at Boma (one of our favorite places), watching Illuminations, playing at Pop! Those photos of the fireworks are breathtaking!

I had that Disneyland video link playing as I was getting ready for church yesterday morning. I want to take time to sit down and watch the whole thing later. It was very interesting. Thanks for sharing that. As you take your year or more long break from Disney trips, the Disboards and youtube and live webcams are going to be a big help in getting you through!

I'm hoping Jill will let me borrow their video camera to take on this trip so I can video parades and fireworks and all to share when I get back. Your Illuminations fireworks pictures easily let me picture myself sitting right there by the water watching them.

thanks! actually, i believe that glenda told us that you had cancelled your trip that night at dinner because of the storms coming through. but you guys were there in december and it all worked out! those tables were nice - i'm sure they're hard to get though. we got there like an hour ahead of time and i think we got lucky.

I am jealous you got to meet both Glenda and Jaime(tiggerbell)! And I could totally go for a bowl of hot ginger carrot soup right now, yum.
The idea of taking pictures of all the keyboard letters at POP to spell a message is really cute!

they were so sweet and i'm so happy we got to meet them! counting you, and my friend kat that we met the first night, that was four AWESOME disers we met on that trip! that soup was good. i really liked it. i found the recipe for that chicken pepperpot soup last night. i bet you could find the ginger carrot recipe if you googled it!

Isn't Boma the best?? The foods always SO good! Was the juice you got Frunch? Or do they have something new now? I love the Illuminations pictures too. It's definitely my favorite nighttime show, I absolutely love it!

I'm with Erica on the carrot-ginger soup--that was one of my favorite things when we ate at Boma in April, and I'm hoping that they're serving it again when we're there next month. The mojito and the slushie look good, too!

Trent is a Gator man, so he's very happy. He had gone to watch it with friends, and he came home all smiles.

He's a Vandy fan, too.

And he went to school and played ball with Patrick Turner, so he's a USC man, too.

I could go on - Duke, etc., but you can probably tell what's on in our house any time he's home. The only sport he doesn't care as much about is baseball, but he still watches it if there is no basketball, soccer, or football on!

so now that the titans AND the giants lost this weekend, football season is officially over for me. oh, well. THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR. (i hate saying that.) i really don't have ANY sort of interest in any of the teams left. i know that sounds bad but i don't. i can't stand phillip rivers from san diego (sorry, jordan, but he runs his mouth too much) and i REALLY can't stand ray lewis from baltimore. and i grew up with my stepmom's parents (who are from pennsylvania) shoving the steelers down my throat. so i'm guessing i'm going to be pulling for whoever the NFC champs are (either arizona or philadelphia). i think i got all that straight! but i honestly don't even know if i'm going to watch it!

Might I recommend cheering for Arizona? I will be the first to admit, I barely follow football but it is so nice to see Kurt Warner make a comeback. We went to the same college at the same time and I loved watching him help the Rams win the superbowl a few years back. I would love to see him do that again. He just seems like such a very grounded, genuine and generous guy who really appreciates all he has been given.

Hey ladies! I was bummed about the Titans losing also. My favorite team, the Atlanta Falcons, lost last week.....so I was really hoping for a Titans win. Now, I suppose I'm pulling for the Steelers. Anybody but the Eagles!

I don't mind the Cardinal's and dont' really mind Warner for that matter. But I did NOT enjoy watching the Ram's win that superbowl. The fact we were so close on that one also sickens me And with it being one of the 'best' superbowls ever we get to see that final play over, and over, and over

And I'm thinking anyone but the Ravens....which means the Steelers....YUCK!!

This one will burn for awhile. Teams lose games but not to many times the way we managed to screw ourselves out of that one. It was horrible. It was one of those few times I have felt if we did pull it out we didn't deserve the win. And to think they shouldn't have even been able to kick that field goal

Oh well...the sun came up today as I'm sure it will again tomorrow...on to basketball season for me So crazy that it will be March madness before we know it and the Titans will be taking the field again
