Cinderella Honorary Princess of the Day

I just noticed this on Deb Will's site:
"Cinderella Honorary Princess of the Day" - Every day in the month of October one little girl visiting the Magic Kingdom will be chosen at random as a "Cinderella Honorary Princess of the Day" to celebrate the October 4 DVD release of the motion picture "Cinderella." The chosen princess will receive a Cinderella gown and tiara, as well as a ride in Cinderella's horse-drawn coach in an honorary princess procession ahead of the 3 p.m. parade, accompanied by banner carriers, coachmen and Cinderella's mice, Suzy and Perla. The honorary princess have a private meeting with Cinderella, and will also receive a copy of "Cinderella" on DVD.

Cute! Some little princesses are going to have very magical days!

I would like to find out more about this, too? I know it says chosen at random, but does anyone have an idea of from when or where. I wondered this about the family that gets chosen for the parade. Anyone have experience with this?
