Cinderella Crocs for Toddler....help!

I ordered my DD3 a pair of the Cinderella Crocs from Zappos. They just came in and are so cute! They are in her size range (8-9 and she wears an 8 1/2), but even with socks, they slip a lot when she walks. How are these supposed to fit? I thought with the elasticized top, they would be a little more fitted than they actually are. Should I go down a size? I don't want her toes to be rubbing against the front either though. Has anyone else had this same problem?

not sure which style you bought- but i have the caymans one and I always have gone down a size. I find they run really big. They will slip a little bit that's the fit- you might want to compare the other side.

My dd wears a size 10, and she wears a 10-11 crocs and they do run a little big on her, but I felt that size 8-9 are too small. My ds wears size 7 1/2 shoes and I also find the size 6-7 too small, so I get him size 8-9. He also has wide feet so one size bigger fits him better. Those are the ones! She walks on her tippie-toes alot, so she needs something that is going to stay on and not flop around and be a hazard....which is why I didn't get regular pair for her. I was HOPING that because the top is elasticized it would fit a little more snuggly. She loves them, so I'll just hang onto them for springtime....they should fit by then!

I just ordered the Ariel pair for my dd. I hope they fit. That's the bad thing about ordering online, not trying them on!
