PLEASE don't do dinner. It was honestly the worst meal I had on my vay-cay (or at all in the last year, actually). Horrible service, undercooked meat, soup came out before drinks, etc. I've heard great things about the character breakfast tho!

Dinner in the castle is our favorite thing to do. It's not the full fireworks show, but you can see quite a bit from inside. In our experience in the past, they dim the lights, the music is pumped in, and kids (maybe adults? didn't notice) are allowed to come and gather around the windows. DH and I were sitting by the windows, but were not bothered by the kids sitting on the ground.
Honestly, it's my most memorable experience in WDW, period.
...and we love the food.
We just had dinner there a few weeks ago. The Fairy Godmother, Perla, and Suzy were the only ones who came to the dinner. They sang and did some dancing. It was cute. Cinderella is downstairs signing autographs and the dinner does come with a picture package. Since we were a party of 6 we got 2 picture packages. We let our youngest have their pictures taken with Cinderella. The packages we got came with 4 5x7, 1 8x10, and 1 8x10 picture of the castle.
It was great to say we ate in the castle. My steak was undercooked, but I also only ordered it medium, instead of medium well. My husband loved his grilled salamon. Next time, we will try breakfast. We had a great time!

I asked my 7 year old daughter during our last trip if she could change anything when we went back. She said, "Mom, can we eat lunch at the Castle instead of dinner? I cannot see the fireworks"
You cannot see the fireworks from the castle. You can hear them if everyone is fairly quiet. To be honest I think everyone should do dinner there at least once in their life just to say they have done it. Although, if you have other oppurtunities to go to WDW again I would do another meal.
Could you please tell what food you had that was good or not so good so we can be thinking about what to order... Thanks so much!
Is it possible to get an early enough ressie that dinner would be over BEFORE Wishes started? So that you could get back outside the castle and get a spot further down main street to see the fireworks? My kids loved Wishes the first (and only) time we saw it and I'm sure would not want to be eating through it.
Anyone do lunch there... Any help there... and reviews... We have our CRT Ressie for lunch....![]()
