I can’t believe I got Cinderella’s royal table!
I noticed though that they required advance payment of over $200 (there’s only 3 of us)
Is the food for three that expensive?
Is this the only restaurant that requires advance payment like this? Be our guest didn’t do this.

Yes, 70 for adults. And yes, due to low capacity and ADR hoarders in the past, they do require up front payment.

CRT has always been pre-paid. I believe the current price is $62 plus tax and gratuity for adults and $37 plus tax and gratuity for kids 3-9. The price includes appetizer, entree, dessert and non-alcoholic drink. The tax and gratuity is also pre-paid. Also note that the price is slightly lower than usual due to the princesses not currently meeting (although Cinderella does still appear in the dining room every 20-30 minutes).

On May 28 we have a ADR for CRT dinner, but our park reservation is for Studios. Do you think we should worry that the MK will close and we won't be able to use? THANKS!

Park hopping has not been an issue, even when all park reservations are gone

As others have said , many restaurants require advance payment, if you cancel within their timeline, you get the money back. We went a few years ago with my disabled daughter and her best friend. They loved it and the princesses all came around, so you could do loads of pictures. And Cinderella was stationed in one spot for a picture. The dining room is very pretty. The food was ok. Personally if The princesses aren’t there, I don’t think it is worth it.

I’ve heard due to covid only Cinderella comes out for a little while and stays at a distance. I have a 15 year old son (autistic) who doesn’t give a poop about princesses. This ones for me. Lol

The meal is a flat rate so it is a price per person vs a pay difference per meal.

Exactly! My boys have never been interested in the princess meal so the current lack of characters and (slightly) lower price made this a win on our last trip. Checked off “eating in the castle” from our bucket list!
