Cincinatti area for Easter..things to do

Having a small family reunion in the Cincinatti area in April. I've never been there before. Looking for must-see and must-dos with 6 kids ranging in ages from 7 to 16, 2 girls, 4 boys. Is the Newport Aquarium worth it? Is Jungle Jim's worth a walk through? Any other ideas?

My kids liked the Newport Aquarium. It is not huge so only takes about 3 hours max. We also walked thru Jungle Jacks. It was Ok. It is a grocery store with some fun things to see. I have heard the museums downtown are a lot of fun. I beleive there is one building that has 3 museums. We took the kids last year for spring break and stayed at Great Wolf lodge, did the aquarium and Jungle Jacks.

We are thinking of staying at the Great Wolf Lodge too. I'll have to research more about downtown museums.

The museum at the old railroad depot is really cool (I think it's the museum of natural history). We're due for a visit back!

The Cincinnati Zoo is not to be missed. They have a terrific exhibit of white tigers and the neatest polar bear exhibit.

Newport Aquarium won't take but a couple of hours.

I really like Union Terminal--History museum, and children's museum are there.

Lebanon Railway does some weekend train rides. The are sometimes accompanied by a meal at The Golden Lamb, or elsewhere in town. My girls had a blast a couple of years ago, at the American Girl ride. The older ones-not so much. Here is a link to the website, plus it has a coupon to Great Wolf on the page. Only 10% though--usually you can get a cheaper rate w/ a special.

Also Kings Island should be open weekends in April. ETA: they don't open till 4/18.

I totally agree. I also love the walk through gorilla trails.
