Cici's Pizza Buffet? Reviews?

You get what you pay for. None of my family likes it. But I do know of others here who like it (although none claim it to be their favorite).

I used to very much enjoy going to our local CCs in Marietta, GA, until my husband and I got the absolute worst food poisoning ever from them. We were able to trace it back to the salad (comparing what we ate to what our friends we with ate and who else got sick). It was an absolute nightmare and I refuse to eat at any CCs pizza again.

Recently, because of the recession, our CiCi's has lowered their price from $4.99 to $3.99.
I think that this is admiral. I am not a fan of the place, but my husband likes it. And because they were kind enough to lower the price, I don't pitch a fit when he wants to eat there.

Good going CiCi's!

Really? Nice, the ones in Orlando are 5.99, atleast on this side of town.
Ours is having a 3.99 special for Tuesday though.

I like the variety, there is something for all of us. The boys lke the mac and cheese pizza plus the noodles w/ sauce of their choice. I like the spinach, BBQ and buffalo ck pizzas and bread sticks. The salad has 2 kinds of lettus, and a decent amout of toppings. The cinnamon rolls and brownes rock in my openion.

Is it the best pizza I have ever had? no but it is edible and we choose to go back there? yes

Haven't been there for awhile-I would rather pay the 10-15 dollars for a good pizza than waste the $$ on something I really don't like. The salad bar is OK, but not worth the 4.99. The only other edible things IMO is the cheesesticks and brownies.

The CiCi's that we found to be the BEST is the one not far from The Crossings, in the same plaza as Hooters. We've tried a few and this one we found to be the best. VERY clean, always taking the dirty plates, place is clean, etc. Gotta love Ci Ci's!

We don't have a Cici's locally but we found one while in WDW and went three times over course of 9 days! I loved feeding a family of four all you can eat for 30$! The pizza was good, the manager told us if we wanted anything special on our pizza to ask and they would make it! Believe it or not Cici's was one of the kids highlights of WDW in 08! We saw many families from the parks @ Cici's! It was by no means gourmet pizza but was certainly fine, and I won't eat eat at Golden Corral or Old Country Buffet!

Seems to be a place kids love, but adults, who probably have a more refined pizza palette, don't.
:lmao:

Would I rush to it? no...but if my DGS wanted to go I would be there in a heartbeat.

Good going CiCi's!

I might be tempted to go back! I haven't been back since they upped the price to "five dollars and change" or whatever the commercial says now. I have 5 people in my family, that's $25 before drinks. I'd rather take them to a sit down restaurant for a just a few bucks more. When we could all get out for under $20..ok, I'll do Cicis. Too me, it's not worth the price anymore.

We like CiCi's. Prefer hidewaway or Pie Hole, but Cici's is not bad in our area.

I've only ever been to the one by our house and it is gross. The place is ok looking for what it is but the food is just yuck. DH for some reason will randomly suggest going there once every 6mths or so but I've been able to talk him out of it all but 2 or 3 times. I'd rather eat at home.

Our local CiCi's will make us "crustless pizzas" They just fill a tin pan with what we want and run it through the oven. Then we use it like fundue and dip the bread sticks in. That way you get plenty of toppings. I find there pizzas on the buffet are mainly bread. This makes the food so much better. During the summer we treat the kids once a week.

My kids love this place, I think it is OK..as mentioned, it's quick, the food is ready and waiting as soon as you pay. I like the variety and the fact they kids can get their own food. My DS10 like the barbecue pizza, I like the buffalo chicken. DS9 like cheese only. We could never get this variety ordering a whole pizza, so it works for us. The one by us is pretty clean, they keep the buffet full. I haven't tried the pasta, usually buffet pasta is overcooked and mushy. The salad bar is fresh.

We have only been to one Cici's, Fredericksburg, VA but it is awesome. Our family of 4 loves it. Great variety of pizzas and yes they will make your favorite if you tell them. You also get salad, soup, pasta and dessert. You can't beat the price and if you leave hungry that is your own fault. The pizza at ours is fab-u-lous!:cool1:

I like it too-- at least I like the one in our area. It's not the healthiest fare, but I love their cinnamon bread-dessert thing. But then I love anything cinnamon. Overall I think it's a good deal, but IMO similar health-wise to fast food. Also you can tend to over-indulge at a buffet-- or at least, I can...

I think it depends on each individual restaurant. I live about 20 miles east of Dallas. Our local Cici's is great. However, we've tried two different ones in the Dallas area that were just yuck! Our local one has a really outgoing, friendly manager that is great. We usually only go about once or twice a month, but he always recognizes us, immediately grabs a cone, says 'I know what you want on one half, but what do you want on the other half today'. My elderly mom doesn't like any of the pizzas on the buffet, but he always has them fix her a half with like triple meats, black and green olives, and onions. It has very little sauce on it, but is completely piled high with meats, just the way she likes it. They always bring the whole pizza to our table, even though the rest of us eat off the buffet. They also have a decent salad bar with lots of toppings. The manager is usually the one who brings my mom's specialty pizza to her and he always stays and talks to us for awhile, making sure she is happy with her pizza. On the other other hand, the two Cicis we went to in the Dallas area were just gross and their pizzas had very few toppings on them.

I'm from NY and we have some GREAT pizza here. That said, we thought CiCi's in Orlando (on 535) was a GREAT value for what you got! I certainly think it tastes better than Domino's Pizza. They had so many different kinds. My favorite was the WHITE pizza. My son LOVED LOVED LOVED the Mac and Cheese Pizza. He is 7 and had about 7 slices, which is a lot for him! The brownies were DELISH!!!! They also had Apple Pie, which was an Apple Pizza Pie dessert and it was good, too. The salad was good and plentiful and the drinks were free refills.

For the price, GREAT DEAL. Is it my favorite pizza? ABSOLUTELY NOT.
