Cicadas in eastern PA

I thought the cicadas were supposed to be here in May but I haven't seen them. Has anyone else in the Philly vicinity seen them?

I haven't seen them. I've heard they are gathering in a secret meeting place while their numbers strengthen, before they launch their evil plot upon the world.

No I'm still waiting! I've heard that they are in the Harrisburg area.

I'm wondering if my area has had too much development for them to show up? It's weird, they seem to be prolific in certain areas, and non-existent in others.

In what direction are they coming from? I'm not to far from Pocono Raceway and we have not had them yet either.

some states are not getting them till mid summer. We got ours but we have none in our neighborhood but a mile a way they are crawling with them.
