Ciao Mickey, This is NOT Disney. The real Europe visited...8/16 - Day 9.11 & 9.12

We had just passed a lake and now we continued along. The grass here was so vividly green.

I loved this little bridge.

We were going along a river. it was so pretty.

Another cute town on the other side.

Then we passed through a town. See the cars waiting for us to cross. They were probably cursing the tourists. LOL.

Some kind of train yard I guess.

So pretty.

Then I noticed the clouds again.

Full view of it all.

I guess the one horse was in a timeout being it wasn't free. LOL.

The town again.

One last look at the town.

Then we went up the mountain.

Looking back at the town we just passed. See I am not the only one hanging out the window. LOL.

Ooh a tunnel.

Looking at water and rocks as we crossed a small bridge.

I think I will stop here again. I hope I am not doing photo overkill. I am having a difficult time picking which to post so doing a lot of them that are kind of similar. If it is boring let me know and I will edit myself some.

I finally made it over here. As you know I took a long vacation from the boards. I needed it.

Can I travel to Europe with you??? I am planning a trip to England in 2016 with my mom and aunt to celebrate my mom's 60th anniversary. And my dad isn't going. But worse than that my mom told me I'm not allowed to bring a camera. I think se is crazy.

I absolutely love the pictures so far. I was at the Washington National Cathedral a couple of weeks ago and it is designed like the old European churches but WOW!!! That church was stunning. The mountains are gorgeous and I love the reflection pictures. I would have gone broke in that shop though. All the Grumpy items??? I would have missed the train.

As someone who lives pretty close to the Alps, this is great fun to see. It is only when I see your photos I realize how nice it is here. Guess you don't really see what's right in front of your nose.

Love those pics with the fog hanging low. I caught myself stopping my car a few days ago and looking at low hanging fog over the rolling hills. Your pics are just awesome in catching that.

Do NOT cut out any photos. I really enjoy them all.

I take a week or two off from the boards when needed. It gets to be too much trying to stay caught up with tr's and writing one.
I have told you what I thought of your mother saying that and I would be traveling alone. No one tells me what I can bring on a trip and what I can't.
The churches here do no justice to the ones over there. they did have a lot of Grumpy stuff.

That is how I feel about NYC. When I am with someone from out of town then I see it for its beauty otherwise it is just crowded and blah.

Day 2.7

We continued going up the mountain and were surrounded by trees.

A building among the trees.

Then it was time for another short tunnel.

I stuck my head out inside the tunnel to take a pic.

More scenery pics once we got out.

We have traveled far. Still a bit to go.

I saw this sign. No clue what it was.

Now we are still going up and we will soon be there (not in this update) and we came to water again.

Love how low it was or we were very high?

Then we were at another stop.

Then we were back by the water.

Okay then it was back to the water.

Then I noticed at the end was a dam.

On the other side of the dam was more water but look, it is a normal color.

Then I saw this.

Then I saw these on the mountain and have no clue. maybe some kind of windmill.

I saw a gondola going up.

Lazy horses.

Moo!

Passed this.

I can always find an outlet. LOL.
