Chunkymonkey and Chubbyhubby Feed the Force!! A May 2015 TR - Update 10/29 Trip Epilogue!

The dessert party looks AMAZING! I'm now kinda bummed we didn't stay a couple more days for SWW festivities. Maybe next year! You guys look like you had a blast and enjoyed SWW to the fullest. :chewy:

All caught up! Looks like you had a great Star Wars day! Love all the pics with the characters but man, how cool that you were up on the screen, not once but twice? Pretty damn cool!!

OMG those desserts look AMAZING! I want that blondie NOW!!! So much fun!!!

It was sugar overload!! But it was a lot of fun. The blondie was good!

Joining in! You did so much in one day! And those desserts look amazing!

Welcome! It was a packed day! But it was a lot of fun! I ate too much that day!

We sure did! We made the most of our one day at SWW! We did go back to check out the fireworks again the next day...don't worry, there will be plenty more SWW each year! I would really like to go again!

All of those food pics made me so hungry!!!!

I was hungry just posting them! It was a great eating day!

Thanks! It was awesome! I can't believe it! What are the odds? LOL.

I'm finally here! I'm so excited that you're doing a trip report!!! :yay:

Art of Animation is really an awesome resort - I was so impressed by how much thought they put into each area. As always, I love your photos!

Aren't those Grey Goose Slushes awesome?! I finally tried one this trip and don't know why I've skipped them before! They are now a must-do item!

You packed a lot of fun into your Star Wars day! :worship: I think getting one of the packages was the way to go - we watched the parade for just a few minutes as we had absolutely NO view whatsoever. I'm quite impressed that you also did both Star Wars meals on the day of your package - the breakfast looks especially fun!

Looking at the pictures of the scantily-clad Leia cracks me up. I'm not sure if it was the same person, but I swear I saw an almost identical gal when we went to Hollywood Studios for Star Wars Weekends. She had the exact same hair clip and arm band - but she wore a cape over the bikini. I'll have to look through my pictures to see if I grabbed a shot of her. (She was pushing a stroller with a baby in it, which really makes her costume all the more hilarious. :thumbsup2 )

What a magical moment!! Out of thousands of pictures I was up there...twice!!
Plus, both those picture were only taken hours ago at our Hollywood and Vine dinner. I never expected to be up on the screen at all!
:cheer2: How exciting for you!

The desserts look yummy.

Hi Jenny! Glad you made it over!! Can't wait to read your TR too!

Thank you! It's a really cute resort! Such great theming!

Yes they were! I wish I had gotten another one though! Just never made it over there when I actually wanted something to drink!

We sure did! It was a crazy day, but I guess that is how we do Disney! (And I am sure you do too with your many ADRs!)

Wow, Slave Leia with a cape and stroller! That is a sight I'd like to see!!

Thanks! It was an exciting moment!

They were good! A bit of a sugar overload though, but definitely very fun.

Can't look at all them sweet pictures at work.....I keep making little hungry sounds :) .........Super cool for your pictures to be put up on the big screen!!!!!!!

All the food at the dessert party looks great. And hello alcoholic drinks ; )

Congrats on getting your pics on the screen. I had no idea someone so famous was in our mist.

I've never been to Hollywood & Vine either and don't actually see it popping up in TRs too often so I was excited to read about an event taking place there. I love the names of the foods they had :thumbsup2

Oh my gosh, I would have also absolutely done dessert at H&V even with the approaching dessert party. I remember when my youngest sister graduated college and we went into Boston to celebrate. Well, my parents were in the middle of their divorce so we did two big family dinners with the start/meet-up times just 2 hours apart. On my way from Dinner #1, I stopped for gelato because... why not?! :rotfl2:

Sounds like a beautiful night for the dessert party. And... just when you think it couldn't get better, YOU GET FEATURED TWICE ON THE BIG SCREEN!!!! :jumping1: That's so incredible!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy and excited for you for that incredible memory!!!!!!!! :hyper::hyper::hyper:

Finally caught up and I'm on board! Your day seemed really magical. I'm so happy you shared your experiences with us. You got a ton done!

Yeah wasn't it?? I didn't have my hopes up because of last year, and this year I took far less pictures that I tagged. The desserts were great but I really think it's because they look much better than they taste. Or also, there were too many sweet things in one night...they should have supplemented with something salty, like chips or cheese and crackers/fruit...I'd like that a lot better!

I found you!! :wave2: I have a lot of catching up to do!

Hi there!! I'm so happy that you're here! This TR will probably last a while as I have so many days to go through in detail.

Thanks! I did need some alcohol! They had a kahlua drink which was nice (also too sweet) but much needed.

Thank you thank you *bows* I hope I'm not a one hit wonder! LOL:rotfl:

Thanks Tracy!!! It was such an incredible day/night!! I shall always remember it...sigh :cloud9:

I used to have more of a sweet tooth but nowadays not too much though. But I did try everything at the dessert party and all were fairly good. I did wish they set out a bowl of chips or something just so we had something savory...cheese or crackers, etc. Just so we could mix things up a bit and it's not just sweet after sweet.

Finally caught up and I'm on board! Your day seemed really magical. I'm so happy you shared your experiences with us. You got a ton done!

Thank you and thanks for reading! We sure did a ton. We're like the commando style of park hopping usually but we did a lot of resort breaks on this trip which is a rare thing for us...guess we're getting old!

Joining in! Love the report so far! We overlapped with you, by the way. Can't wait for more!

That's cool! Were you at SWW as well? Welcome and thanks for reading!

Yep, we did SWW on 5/15, 5/17, 5/23, 5/24 (partial days on most of those). We also must have been at Epcot the same time as you on (I think it was) 5/15 late afternoon/evening. Small world!

Yeah totally! We were back in DHS for the fireworks but we only stayed in the back far from the masses. We still had a nice view of the fireworks as it was very different from the perspective we had the night before...On 5/17 we were at Epcot in the day. 5/18 was MK, then 5/19 was AK, then 5/20 was DHS again, 5/21 was Epcot and 5/22 was MK and we left that evening. Maybe we crossed paths again? :)

Su-Lynn!!! I'm so excited you have a TR and a cruise TR to read! It's funny because I was thinking about you recently because I was reminded of the time that Howard went to your photography class. He's really into photography even more now, and I've even started getting interested in it too using his really old DSLR. I'll be reading your updates throughout the course of the day as I try to be productive too, haha, but I just wanted to say hello first because it's been a while!
