Somewhere in my research I found a cream/lotion for thighs that rub together and chafe. Unfortunately I can't find it anywhere and I don't remember what the cream was called :confused3

Does anyone have any tips or know the name of the cream?

Body Glide is one that others have recommended. There is also a chaffing product by Monistat as well in the feminine aisle.

Wearing thin bike shorts, or a compression type short, underneath your regular clothing, helps as well. I have bought several pairs--the most recent is Hanes, and they're awesome! Not hot at all, stay in place and don't ride up, and really do the anti-chafing trick!! I wear them under dresses and loose fitting shorts and they are great!!

I use body glide..you can find it at your local running store or sporting good store. Also on Amazon..

Works great!:thumbsup2

Monistat Chafing Relief Powder-Gel!

You can find this at most drug stores, in the "feminine product" section. Body Glide can be harder to find for some folks (it's mostly found at sporting goods stores).

Thank you for all your help. I knew when I couldn't find it that this was the place to ask!!

I've been waiting a long time for a thread titled "Chubby Thighs"

Thanks.

Monistat Chafing Relief Powder-Gel!

Yes!

There is also one by Lanacane. It's the same thing, but it's found in the blister/bandaid area.

This stuff is wonderful and dries to a satiny-powdery feel.

It seems expensive, but you really only need a tiny bit-- maybe a pea sized amount.

Personally, I don't understand the Body Glide. I bought it for our first trip and tried it out on my feet. It was so sticky I had to wipe it off, and switch shoes and I was still uncomfortable. Fortunately I hadn't tried it on my thighs or I would have been going out of my mind. :worried:

See I just bought Body Glide tonight and just dragged my finger across it and it doesn't seem like it's enough to "keep the thigh fires at bay".

I second the bike shorts over creams. I wear compression shorts from under armour, and they are a LIFE SAVER!!! I wear dresses all the time and can't live without my shorts!

:thumbsup2 DH loves his Under Armor undies when he works at the Fire Dept. He also uses the t-shirts. We also take the body glide to WDW.

Bodyglide,I swear by it.Whenever I went to a waterpark or the beach walking around all day in wet trunks was automatic chafing, like 100% chance of getting it,also when running or walking all day on hot days where you sweat a lot could cause some chafing.Since I first heard about Bodyglide I use it in any of these situations and not once have I gotten chafing after using it.

Another fan of Body Glide. I used to be able to pick it up our local Dick's Sporting Goods, but they discontinued it and now stock the Mission brand antichafing cream, which is not near as good and takes twice as much. So I now order it from Amazon.

I just ordered Avon's version. It's not here yet, but the price seemed pretty decent. I think it was under $4.

If you're in a bind, Mennan's speed stick works to reduce chafing. Personally, I go for bike shorts under my clothes - the little cheap cotton kind do fine for me. I've also discovered that I can cut the legs off a pair of thin tights and they'll do the trick as well.
