Christopher Reeve

Christopher Reeve was a hero to many people, yet he always said it was the ordinary people living with disability who were truly extraordinary. As Christopher himself once said, "So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable."

It was very sad to hear he had died.
He took his misfortune and used it to help other people.
The foundation he began will continue to help others even now that he is gone.
The Christopher and Dana Reeve Paralysis Resource Center and the Christopher Reeve Foundation have given information and grants that benefit those with paralysis.

I really don't know whether my will to live would be as strong as his was. I'm sure he was an inspiratoin to folks who thought that they would never have a decent quality of life.

I watched The Brook Ellison Story on A&E last night. It was the last project done by Chris Reeve. Beautiful, eloquent, moving without being sappy... it is worth watching.

I think Chris Reeve will be missed greatly in this world. He was a man of great strength and charisma.
