Christopher Radko Will Be At Days Of Christmas

For those of you who will be near DTD on Friday, Christopher Radko will be at Days Of Christmas signing ornaments. They will have a limited edition Cinderella's castle ornament available as well as other ornaments.

JRawkSteady - He is an artist who designs many of the fancy Christmas ornaments you see in the Disney catalog.

Brier Rose - I'm not sure, but I heard a CM say she thought it would be around $60. There are only 600 of them.

Yeah, and am I the only one who didn't know there was a real person named Christopher Radko. I mean, I knew that was the name of the company, but I thought it was named for some founder maybe, who was now deceased. Imagine, the things you learn on the DIS!

I wonder how different it will be from the Cindy's castle Radko ornament I have now. It was my first Radko and DH bought it for me on my first trip to WDW back in 2000.

Simba's Mom - he sure is a real person. Not that old either. Check out the QVC website. He's usually on there a couple of times a year showing the ornaments of his that they sell.

I wish Christopher Radko was still on QVC. He jumped ship to HSN a year or two ago and now there's a rumor that he's leaving HSN too. His ornaments are so beautiful - pricey, but beautiful. I'd also like to know if Days of Christmas would take a phone order.

It was a big disappointment when Radko left QVC... especially since I live near 2 of the QVC outlets and occasionally got some of the "leftovers" on sale. His stuff is beautiful -- I started collecting when my hubby bought me a Wizard of Oz ornament almost 10 years ago, and then I saw more of the ornaments at Saks in NYC. It's been "downhill" since then - I think I have about 35 ornaments, and they are just so much nicer than other glass ornaments. Hubby was going to buy me the castle ornament last year, and we just ran out of time.

Still hoping to hear from someone with a Days of Christmas phone number....
