Alison, you've had some great suggestions. I'd only add to plan something special to do with just Eve and your partner one of the days after Christmas - a trip to the theatre, cinema or a meal out. That way you'll have something to look forward to when its all madness

We went to see Beauty and the Beast on Tour a couple of years ago at Christmas. That was a nice family day out. I'm pretty sure it's still touring.
