we are at SSR 25/12 to 12/1 went last year from 29/12 to 12/1 been several times at xmas as far as we are concerned its the best time to go and we have no kids its crowded up to new years day then it start to slow down a bit its still busy though make sure you see the parades, pm us if you wish

We are going for our first Christmas trip from 14/12 - 4/1. It's the kids and I until DH arrives on 21st. We are starting off at Pop, then moving to the Contemporary from 19th - 28th and finally on to OKW :cheer2:

we are going out 16th dec coming back 2nd
first timers for me and 2 ds
dh been 5 times tho said its great

We went last Christmas from the 11th Dec, to the 5th Jan. We found the first week the parks crowd levels were managable, however during the week of Christmas is was very very very busy. We hardly did anything! We still had a great time, made use of Fast passes etc. Over the new year we moved to the Dolphin to be near Epcot/MGM. On NYE it was wall to wall people in Epcot. We saw the first fireworks, but it took us a long time to walk any where. Unfortunatly our DD4 became very ill and we had to leave early. It was a very close call as 5 mins coming off soaring she threw up !! That would have been a nice present for the rest of the riders! She was ill for the rest of the holiday. Because of this, one thing we discovered and would def. do again, is watch the NY fireworks from the bridge nearest Dolphin. There was about 20/30 people there and you saw all of Epcots, MGM's and DDD's/PI fireworks. It was amazing, poor DH didn't get to see them as he took DD4 back to the room. I would give the parks a miss on that night and eat in the boardwalk and watch the amazing display from the bridge.

Make sure you take really warm clothes as it can be very cold - including frost.

We own at another resort Christmas and new year so have been quite a lot. If you want to get into the parks on Christmas and new year day you have to go early. They are full to capacity.

We went into Magic Kingdom evening on Christmas day and perhaps because it was a bit damp we got in an did everything we wanted with no problems but feel if you do not like crowds it is best avoided.
