I know before the Halloween party there are certain restaurants people book and they fill up fast, is it the same way for Christmas. Do people ususally go to certain restaurants before the Christmas party? If so can they be booked when the tickets are ordered, I think that was how it was with the Halloween.

Last year, it was possible to call and buy tickets for the Christmas party AND make an ADR for LTT at the same time -- BUT I had to really, nicely, convince the CM that it was possible. Once he realized that I wasn't going to give up, then he suddenly "found" the option on his computer that allowed the ADR. The only two TS places open during last year's party were LTT and Tony's. In the past, it has been possible to make an ADR at CP or CRT up until 6 p.m. when the park officially closes to other guests.
