Hi All, 3rd times a charm - I have posted in the wrong place twice now lol!

Anyway.....

Anyone else done the dine with Shamu on Christmas day? We are doing it this year and wondered what we can expect?

Also what else we expect from seaworld on Christmas day

Many Thanks

I have been reading your trip report and its really great, some really good info on there.

We have the Dine with Shamu booked as we love this, it seems like they go all out for the holidays.

Was it really busy? I picked Seaworld as I hoped it would be the quietest park. We have 4 very young children (all under 5).

We are on Idrive for 8 days and then staying in OKW from New Years Eve.

We have been a number of times so dont feel the need to "do everything" but we really want to make the most out of Christmas Day, the magic of Christmas is well and truely alive in our family so it should be amazing for the kids.

Were the queues really long on the coasters? I saw the pics of Shamus happy harbour and it looked empty in that part, this is where we spend a fair chunk of our time.

Christmas Day was very manageable at SeaWorld (much more so than later that week). We arrived prior to park opening and the morning, in particular, was VERY quiet.

We stayed at an onsite SW hotel, so we had free Quick Queue to minimize waits later in the day. The boys used the QQ lines for the coasters and had next to no wait. I do remember the line for the Skytower being posted as a one-hour wait by mid afternoon, so the crowds did pick up somewhat as the day progressed. Shamu's Happy Harbour was virtually deserted in the morning hours....I think there were maybe 5 others riding the Sea Carousel when we were on it.
