Ok so I need some opinions, DBF and I have been mulling this around for like 3 months now.

I finally started the Disney for Christmas last year. Aside from the car breaking down halfway there in nowhere California:eek:, it was a blast. The girls didnt even mind that they only had Santa gifts and a handful of others to open here at the house, since we had 4 other present stops during Christmas Eve and Christmas day.

Well this year we were planning to go to WDW for Christmas. Well that was until we found out that we getting a New Disney Fan.

So I am on the fence. Do we go with a 2 month old? travelling with babies is nothing new for me. DBF thinks we can do it. Not that the baby will remember anything about a trip or its first Christmas anyhow :) It would be for the girls, and so I wont feel guilty about changing our plans. :rolleyes1

Second Option is waiting till April time frame to go. The Girls would have to wait a few extra months to get a Disney fix. It would still be their "Christmas Gift" just a little later, and save me from the stress that has become the shopping season. :headache:

What do you ladies think???

Go at Christmas!!! What better way to spend the first holiday for the little one there WDW. And the girls can show the new peanut the ways of Disney!!! It would really help solidify this new family shift and make it special for the girls and you.

And if we go I would love to get some baby time in!!! That ship has sailed at this house.

Plus the weather is awesome!!! Baby will be very comfy.

I am defiantly thinking about it. starting pricing trips and sent the info along to DBF :)

But then again, I may just decide to wait since I don't want to book a trip and then not be able to go. Any unforeseen complications, a not sleeping ever baby, anything our of the normal. (im the worrier/planner) :lmao:

:scared1: Decisions, Decisions.

I think a very small baby would be more comfortable at Christmas. Also, the smaller they are the less you actually have to flex around them - they eat and sleep regardless of whether you're anywhere "interesting", they'e not so much in a routine for specific bed-times etc. so you can work around your other kids needs - pool time, fireworks, naps whatever!

My only concern would be the timing of the baby's age with relation to flying (I assume you are not driving). Find out when babies are allowed to fly per your doctor and then factor in a late delivery. If it works I say go for it!

My youngest was almost 3 mos old when we went down. It was for my sister's wedding and she (very nicely) scheduled the date around my due date. Our ped wanted the baby to be 6-8 weeks old before flying.

Disney is a very easy place to bring a child -- their Baby Centers are wonderful:lovestruc Each park has one Baby Center with breastfeeding rooms, changing tables, high chairs, stoves to warm food, and a cast member to help you. While there are many discrete places to feed your child, it was nice to go into those special rooms with the rockers and light music. A good break from the noise and bustle of the park.

Congrats! And enjoy the next few months!

My thoughts exactly. Its really not going to care where we are. :rotfl: My only concern is sleeping at night. Theres no way that I can do disney with my family on 2 hours of sleep and a nap. I figure that the baby would stay most of the time in the front carrier. and we have a double stroller that the back fully reclines.

But then Disney at 8 months old is pretty awesome too. DD#3 had the best time and didnt care if we didnt ride the rollercoaster. She was all about characters and the food carts.

The baby will be close to three months old. Hopefully everyone will be back to normal. We will have a date pretty soon U/S on 4/18 to make sure all the dates are together, since everything will be scheduled out.

Im still weighing all the options. We may have to wait until a little closer to make our final decision.

The girls are ok with it either way as long as they are going to Disney. If i asked them to eat pop tarts and box mac and cheese every day to save money they would :rotfl:
