We are planning a trip for early december and we have never been there during the holidays. I was wondering which hotels have the best decorations and experience. Please give me any information to assist in my planning...Thanks in advance

We have visited WDW during the Christmas holiday season and have also found the WL and GF to provide the most decorations that people associate with the 'classic' Christmas theme.

We are going 1st week in December and are so anxious to see the WL all dec'ed out! :cool1:

When I was there a couple of years ago (around Dec. 10, which was an AWESOME time to be there to avoid crowds but still soak up the holiday spirit!), I think it was THE BEACH CLUB that had a really cool holiday feature in the lobby...can't find my pictures right now but seem to remember some kind of carousel? Also echo those who loved GF decorations...plus there was a very British chap giving away roasted chestnuts outside the hotel...classy touch!

:dog2: Last year the BC had a huge carosel made of entirely gingerbread and chocolate! It was very cool. Each hotel has it's own theme, they are all so beautiful. But I have to say that the WL is my fav, only because it has that winter/lodge feel to it that just feels the most like Christmas. :dog2:

We LOVE Christmas at DW. The GF has beautiful decorations and a Dickonson looking gentleman giving out roasted chestnuts. WL has a roaring fireplace and a beautiful tree. There are special decorations everywhere: villages made out of candy and gingerbread houses and a huge carousel. There is a sleigh ride at WL. Don't forget to get tickets to MVMCP. Nothing is prettier than snow on Main St. with Christmas Carols and huge snowflakes projected on buildings and free cocoa and cookies. Osborne lights are fabulous. They have carts with eggnog! Pop has lots of Christmas trees in the food court and gift shop. We can't wait!!! :Pinkbounc Of course don't forget the santas in all the lands telling stories at Epcot. The processional tells the Christmas story with an orchestra and a celebrity and is not to be missed. Germany has a really neat Christmas-themed entertainment during meals. The c hildren get a special treat and chance to participate. :bounce:
