Real or fake?

I am SO against fake ones!

I REFUSE TO GET A FAKE ONE!!!
That why my parents are out getting a real one right now :rotfl:

Fake ones. You don't need to water them, you don't need to freeze your butt off buying one. You don't need to be a tree expert. You don't get poked when your putting on ornaments. Fake is the way to go. It's just so much easier.

I also agree.

we have a fake one that looks fake. i love the way real christmas trees smell, minus the messy needles and sap! :rotfl:

I like the ease of the fake trees! No doubt about it. IMO it seems like such a waste to cut down a tree for Christmas only to throw it away once the season is over.

I've had a few real trees. I bought the ones that came with the roots so you could plant them after the holidays. That was nice, but still not trouble free like the fake trees.

How people can choose a FAKE one is beyond MY comprehension.

I'd miss the smell, the fact that it's genuine, the fact that it does poke you when you're putting ornaments on. Yep.

I dunno, I was done with real trees the christmas I completely tore up my hands putting stuff on it. I don't mind the smell, but the sap is terrible. If you don't water it it gets all brown, and who's ever heard of a brown christmas tree? Not to mention it's a waste of a tree. Your just going to throw it out unless you buy the ones with the roots, but eventually your going to end up with a forest in your yard. Wonderful.

Haha. I've never torn my hands up. It depends on what tree you get. Also, you're right about the one brown tree thing. We got a tree in a rush a few years ago and the needles fell off in a matter of two days, completely bare. I guess if you want a christmas tree to look good you should water it.

Or get a fake one that looks nice. :confused3

I def. like real better cause it just wouldn't be christmas without freezing your butt off and trying to find a good tree and then trying to get it home without it falling off your car.....

I like the fake ones. My mom got a new fake one this year that has the lights already on it, so we dont have to hassle to put the lights on this year.

We have 2 fake ones, prelit. I must say it got tiring watering the tree and vaccuming the needles off the floor. Fake one's are wonderful for matinence but I miss the fresh pine forest smell of the real ones. Next year I'll get a real one  .

We have the fake ones, but I like the real ones better. The needles aren't really an issue, because our fake ones' needles are falling off too. The smell, though... I miss the smell! It doesn't seem like Christmas without going to pick the perfect tree, watching from the inside of the car as Dad struggles to tie it to the top, and having to vacuum up all of the fallen needles every day. Yep, you can't beat a real Christmas tree.

we used to have a real one every year but my mom and i are allergic, so we got a fake one. i wish we could have a real one though.

We have always had a fake tree real trees are to much of hassle for us. This year i made my dad buy one of them glade plug ins and got pine forest refills smells like a real tree.
