We are going to Disney the weekend before Christmas and wanted to put a tree in our, however my husbands thinks he has read or been told that Christmas trees are no longer allowed in the rooms. Does anyone know the rules on this? :santa:

from everything I have read here on the boards you can have a fake tree in your room... I think there is even a thread for a tree swap started for this year... I know I am buying one to take with us:thumbsup2

You can order one from the florist there as well. The CM was trying to talk me into it when I booked the Processional. Verry expensive, but it is entirely decorated in Disney ornaments and lights and you can take it or ship it home. I think it was about $300??? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I ordered the ornaments from the Disney Christmas tree and I'm planning to bring a tree or ship one prior to arrival.

Who's organizing the swap this year? I did it last year, and boy, it really was not easy!
You can get cheap fake trees, mini lights and ornaments at many craft stores. I think I spent about $11/tree last year. It was small, and not very dramatic, but at least I could easily leave it behind for the Mousekeeper instead of packing it up to take home.
