Christmas transport

I guess I'm in the minority - I avoid Disney bus rides like the plague, ever since one trip to get from All Star Sports to mini golf took us 90 minutes.

Happy to take the Skyliner and Monorail, or when we were at Wilderness Lodge, the boat but if the only option includes a bus, I take my car.

We've never had any issues.

Have you ever driven to the parks on Christmas Day?

It's going to be crazy on Christmas either way. If you are using or renting an ECV, I would drive, if you have a HC placard you can park closer at MK as well as the other parks. If no ECV, then I would still drive to any park except for the MK.

One year , the most empty I had ever seen DL was on NYDay Morn …
I wonder if that is still true.
And the long lines to spend Xmas money for DL Annual Passes on Xmas Day!
I guess that has all changed with the new DL Magic Key Pass .

I worry that will arrive this year or next at WDW , to prepare for the Opening of a 1000 room resort called LakeShore Lodge …Quick fix to make AP very expensive and even the Top Tier will have holiday date restrictions …

Anyway, I am worried about crowds for Xmas Day & don’t even want to use the monorail staying at BLT ! But I would not want to drive either.
