We go to universal 5 or 6 times a year. Haven't been to wdw in a couple of years as express has spoiled us. My wife is very adamant about doing Christmas at the house however, she just suggested we do wdw for Christmas. We have ap's for universal and can get military tickets for disney. But, Christmas is blacked out at wdw for military tickets, so buying tickets at regular price is a hard pill to swallow. My question is....how decorated is universal for the holiday? I've done both uni and wdw right after Christmas with my son before but, I don't recall the decorations at each park. It was just the two of us and all we cared about was riding all the thrill rides. Should I do wdw or does universal have a great Christmas setup as well?

Universal does have some decorations and they do have Grinchmas at IOA and the Macys parade at the studios.

What about the resorts? I've searched extensively but come up with very little.

RPH decorates their lobby.
saw a trip report sometime back of it and the tree they had set up.

would assume the others would decorate also.

Not to the elaborate extent that Disney does ( i.e gingerbread house etc) , but they do have Christmas trees and some decor

I remember RPR had a huge tree decorated downstairs (took our picture in front of it) and HRH had a giant gingerbread mansion made to look like Graceland :)
