I will be turning 40 in December 2008 and I already told my husband no party I just want to experience Disney during Christmas. :santa:

I am seeking ANY/ALL suggestions anyone may have to experience a magical WDW Christmas. Where to stay, best places to eat, what to see, etc.

I heard WDW is unbelievable during Christmas & I'd be disappointed if I missed something very spectacular. So I would appreciate to hear from anyone who can tell me more.

1. Go to MVMCP!!! Eat at Liberty Tree Tavern (by 5:30 if possible). Do all the special activities, even if you forgo the rides.

2. Go to the Grand Floridian and see the gingerbread house. It is amazing. Look at all the details.

3. Go to the Osborne Light Festival at Hollywood Studios (still can't get used to calling it that  ). Try to be there when they turn them on, it is really great.

Have a great time.

I just went this Christmas. Be prepared for the crowds. Get fast passes early.
Get to the park early.

I stayed at Port Orleans Riverside, it is a nice place. Chef Mickey's is a great place to eat.

If you are staying on site you can make dinner ressies 180 in advance. Some place booked up really fast. If you do Cinderella Royal Table (in the castle)you have to be on the phone right at 7:00am

1. The Candlelight Processional at Epcot--get in line early! There are celebrity narrators each night; you should be able to find out who will narrate each night well in advance of your trip on the Disney website.
2. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party--if you attend, be sure to make a plan of action prior to the event. Be in the park so you can get your wristband on early. The best part of this (for our family, anyway) was the parade. We planned around attending the parade & had to forgo some other events. It was very crowded 1st week of Dec 2007, & we feel we didn't get our money's worth as a result.
3. There are so many things to see & experience in WDW at Christmas time. The first week of December is the least crowded & you can truly take in all the sights & sounds. We don't ever want to go to WDW at another time of year!

Enjoy!!! Happy 40th.

We just went this past year and stayed in POR Great place to stay!
you definately have to do MVMCP and I would suggest eating at Liberty Tree but if your planning that, make your ADRS the first day you can make them 180 days out. While attending the party, do as much as you can we went the week after Thanksgiving and were able to walk on 90% of the rides.

Epcot the Candlelight Processional was very neat! Would not miss that again.

Hollywood Studios, WOW what can I say you dont wanna miss the Osborne lights they are something to be seen. alls we could say was WOW! It is Amazing!

Animal Kingdom they dont do much just a special parade.

AND dont forget about all the other magical things that can happen!!!!!
