As stated in another thread, DW shocked me with a 10.5 2.8 lens for Christmas. She actually said she knew I was going to get one so she might as well get credit for it!

I have used this lens on several trips by borrowing from a friend. I really like the images it produces. You can get creative.

Well of course I had to try it on Christmas day and thought I would show some of what it can do.

DS, who is 26, has gone domestic and baked this apple and pear pie from scratch, including crust. It tasted as good as it looked!

Mmmmm, the apple pie looks good! Very nice shots :thumbsup2 (although I have to say, the first few all look identical, unless I'm missing something :confused3 ). I've still got my eye on the used one from KEH, just can't decide between it and a new computer desk.

Have fun!!

Love those! Especially the ones of the pie and the turkey. BTW, Do I see a Hidden Mickey on that pie as well?
Thanks for sharing

Nice, but it makes the deserts look lke they are going to fall off the table. Hehehehe

It looks more like an apple cake! Mmmmmm

THe apple pie did sit about 3 inches above the pie pan.

Those are cool pictures however they make me dizzy looking at them!

Congrats! A fisheye lens is a terrific Xmas present, and some of the most fun you can have with your camera. :teeth:
