Christmas Solo Adventure - Day Seven! (Now it's time to say goodbye...)

I was seeing if you were on AIM, but you weren't. I was going to chat with you about the weather because I will be there in a couple of weeks and wanted to know how the weather was. I see you said that you could see your breath???? WOW

The weather ranged from about 30 to 55 during the evening and overnight and 45 to 70 during the daytime, so pack for all seasons!

Thanks for sharing your trip. This is one of the best trip reports I've had the pleasure of reading--I really enjoyed your humorous comments throughout! We love Jellyrolls too. One of the few places we used to go off site for was Howl at the Moon but since it's now gone, we'll be more than satisfied with Jellyrolls.

Wow Great Funny Trip Report.. and you are a very handsome young man ! some girl better get to you quick then you won't be taking solo trips !! LOL.. Michelle

Thank you so much...it's been a great "ride"! Are you really thinking of coming back when your "30 days" are up? LOL I was in the hot seat in November. December 29th is the first day I am eligible to try again. I've made it to the 500,000 point question twice. One time they asked me "What is the atomic number of Cesium?"...(it's 55)...not that I'll ever need to know it again, but one tends to remember that which catapults one out of the hot seat!

The last time I was ousted it was because I didn't know who was the first black woman athlete to get a (gold?) medal in bobsled racing! Oh well, it's a lot of fun and all the caps, lanyards, pins and shirts have more than made my annual pass a good deal!

Anyway, the reason I ask is that I'll be at WDW (offsite at Star Island Resort in Kissimmee) for the whole month of January...I plan to do the "Hot Seat Hustle Dance" twice if I'm lucky...and if you came down to do it during January I'd make a point to watch you try again too! Your annual pass good for how long?...LOL

Rafiki's Planet Watch! The last time I was there I watched the vets give 2 of the 5 new cheetahs their check-ups...and received a pawprint print (they inked his foot when he was under the anesthesia) for one of my younger daughters (she keeps an almost life-size stuffed replica of a cheetah on her bed)

I think one of the reasons I liked your reports so much is that I too, enjoy having the luxury of spending as much time as I want when the magic happens...not having to rush to keep on a schedule.

Thanks for the trip report. I stumbled onto it in from your signature link in another post and was thoroughly entertained. I can't wait for our Feb. trip!

Thanks again!
Kim

Where is the link to the pictures? I was looking at them last night, but today I can't seem to find the link. I know, I should have bookmarked it.

You can find them under The DIS Discussion Forums > Trip Planning Forums > Trip Reports Board > Christmas Solo Adventure - Photos!

I tried putting the link in my sig, but for some reason the link would try to go to post # 69**** instead of post six-nine-nine-eight-zero-zero-zero so it wouldn't work. Looks like nine-eight-zero-zero is HTML shorthand for asterisks! :(

Aw man, its over, but what a great read. I stumbled upon your trip reports via a thread about Photopass. I've had a blast reading about your adventures. You're a talented writer even with a hang...er headache.

Now if I can just find the time to write my own trip report, but I've been too busy reading everyone elses.

Good job ole' chap. I really enjoyed your reports! I would love to go solo one day, but I think I'd miss DD to much. Think I'll need to go adult only and find someone to pal-around with me.

Had to laugh at your "adult with a binkie" LOL. Least you had a comfort with you in the dark. We have red and green around here and they are still used weekly.

Glad you had such a great time and hope you get to go back soon! I guess I need to go clean the house now. oh well!

Wicked good reports!!! (I grew up in New Hampshire.) Read the whole thing and laughed throughout. Particularly loved your top ten at the end. I've travelled alone a lot but never to Disney (as much as I love it.) But your reports have me considering it....

Craig, what a great trip! I am sorry that it is over - I have really enjoyed reading your reports! I've never been to Jellyrolls but now it is on my "must see" list! Have a Very Merry Christmas!!!!

I also loved your reports!
It is making me consider a solo trip, it sounds like fun!

I'm really glad that so many people have enjoyed these reports, I had a lot of fun writing them! Also glad that so many are considering doing a solo trip now! It's lots of fun, as I can attest! Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Chanukah!

Wow, I'm hungry, but could not stop reading your great reports. Excellent job.
Guess I'll have to try JellyRolls next trip. But at my age, I need to go to bed early, Ha.Again, congrats on such a great reporting accomplishment.

Great reports - I read them all too! I loved your top 10 list! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Craig! I loved your trip reports - thanks! I'm sorry I missed you in the World, but I'm happy to see that you were having as much fun as I was. :D
