Hi

We re visiting Orlando over Xmas and New Year and we were wondering whether the chain type restaurants and diners are open on Xmas Day and New Years Day. eg Dennys, Shoneys, Sizzler, basically places that are not in the parks or hotels. Also will the shopping malls be open on New Years Day.

I arrived in Orlando on New Years Day this year and from what I could see everything was operating as usual. Not sure about Christmas, which is a major holiday.

If you would like to know for sure, I would contact the establishment itself and check. This is my FAVORITE time of the year in Orlando. Have a great time!
