Christmas question from a newbie

We booked our trip for the week BEFORE (Dec 9-16) most of the schools in the country get out for Christmas vacation. Will this one week make much difference in the crowds?

edit- 3rd time's the charm (board giving me problems claiming over and over this is a dupliacte thread).

I think you will be fine crowd wise. We will be there 12/14 - 12/19. I am expecting the parks to be ok when we get there and to get progressively more crowded later in the trip.

Do you have a copy of the UG? Have you looked at TGM? Member of touringplans?

touringplans.com (website) - Kinda the sister to the UG - excellent source as well.

I am a bit of an info nut too. You can never be to prepared. Preparation and planning are a big help while staying at Disney.
