Christmas Presents . . .

We got to spend another christmas with my Father . Which after the past 6months was its own kinda miracle.

It was a nice simple Christmas this year. I got a wine cooler, jeans, a saws-all, and my mother got us tickets to the Lion King. DP is not a theatre person, but this is one thing he has been wanting to see.
Mostly we got to spend time together with family. That was nice.

Let's see... Nothing big - I honestly didn't want anything - I plan on buying an eliptical machine within the next week or so.

Jeans
sweater
3 books. 2 Disney related and one Marlo Thomas - growing up funny.
a few shirts
slippers
a gift card to my favorite wine store :rotfl2: ( one of my favorite presents).

I got Chris a lot more LOL!

We got to spend Christmas Eve with family and real close friends and Christmas Day - the same - that was my real present - I love to host and we all had a great time.

The look on my Daughters face when she saw Santas bootprint in the fireplace. She's 8 and had heard at school there was not a Santa. So, we went out of our way this year to make sure she believed...it may be the last time.

Not even the excitememnt of hearing of our upcoming surprise trip in Feb could top that.

For Christmas, DP got me airfare to Orlando and WDW and I got him meals throughout the trip.

We definitely know what each other wants most!

i got a flip video camera (and I bought my DP one, so we obviously wanted one - whether we need two is another matter!), an ipod nano, a telescope (apparently I need this for our cruise!) toy story 3, the latest professor layton DS game, just dance 2 for the wii, itunes and facebook credits gift cards ... lots of chocolate and hello kitty stuff and some books. I was very spoiled ... (but reading that list realised it doesn't sound much like a 40 year old womans list!)

I have a very lovely girlfriend :D

I got lots of stuff

new hairdryer
cds
cupcake books and giant cupcake tin
halogen oven
cookie maker
food processor (do they think i like to cook!)
smellies

I would say I can't wait... but I leave tomorrow for my first Disney Cruise! That is my present from my partner's parents (which my partner had to convince them to invite me to, but I will take it). My first trip with his family. I am a bit nervous. We have been together for over 11 years now, and they have just recently warmed up to me. His 9 year old nephew said last night that he was afraid we wouldn't play with him because we would be out looking for girls. :lmao: I can guarantee him 100% that won't be the case. This could be interesting. Wish me luck!

I will be praying for a smooth sailing trip for you & the inlaws. Love what his nephew said.

DD believed until she was 14. Asked when she was 10, but was going through a divorce & couldn't bare the thought of crushing her completely all in the same year. I just told her if she didn't believe he wouldn't come. Then, one year DH was moving her doll house box (from Santa) & said how heavy it was & I told him he should have tried getting it into the shopping cart. Of course she was standing there. She gets to play Santa to her 2 little bros now though.

:santa:

Ain't that the truth. I'd give everything I own if I could have spent Christmas with my mom one more time this year . . .

I got another Disney Dooney purse, 3 sweaters, a coat, a Gap gift card & some ear buds from DS, a Starbucks gift card, a Kipling backpack for WDW, a new point & shoot camera, a pair of shoes.

Dh got clothes and camera stuff.

DS got clothes, clothes, clothes, an iPod, a point & shoot camera. He has a Flip that I bought on clearance a month or so ago - he likes it a lot! He had been using his old point & shoot for videos, so the Flip is much better.

-A new (refurbished) computer tower....because mine finally went last year and I lost alot of valueable belongings (5 year's worth of music that I'd written and all band artwork =/, Family holiday photos, photo's of me with longlost friends and pets & £50 worth of bought music).
-Marmite Chocolate.....finally tried it this week, disgusting. Then Marmite and chocolate together is abit to much, even for me haha.
-Books

I got lots of nice little things from my family, but my favorite this is my nook e-reader my hubby gave me.

I have been staying away because I didn't want to bring anyone down. For Christmas this year we got to spend the entire day in the ERVet. First with our baby chihuahua (he got bit by a spider and his face swelled to 3 times its normal size) then my oldest was standing in the backyard, tail between her legs, shivering. We come to find out she was in kidney failure and she had a grapefruit size mass in her belly.

So my Christmas gift was the extra 2 weeks I had with her before she passed. She was my 1st puppy I ever had. My GF and I got her when we 1st got together 15 1/2 years ago. She was my baby and I loved her.
