Christmas Presents for Parents

I give my parents restaurant gift cards. They like to go out and eat. I also send them food gifts from the Popcorn Factory.

Do they have a up-to-date GPS? Or possibly some books on out of the way tourist places, or a prepaid cell phone so they can keep in touch with the grandkids. Or a journal that they could write down their adventures. WIsh them luck and they are living my dh's and I dream.

My DF and his wife 5th wheel about 10 months out of the year. When I get them gift certificates it's usually Cracker Barrel for him and SpaFinders for her. That way she gets a nice treat even if they are on the road, she just looks up the closest spa to wherever they are on the internet. They love Cracker Barrel as it is one of the places RVer's can stay overnight if need be. They can also rent the books on tape there for the road if there is something they want to hear.

What about a Kindle , nook or Sony reader if they are readers. One little device, a TON of books ! Space Saver for sure.
