I'm almost sure that Disneyland has a Christmas party similar to the one held in Disney World, but I'm not 100% sure. Does anyone know if there is a special hard ticket Christmas Party? If so have dates been announced yet? If there is one I'd really like to go and check it out, but if not I'd also like to know so I can go check out all the decorations on a day it won't be extremely crowded. Thanks for your help.

As far as I know, there isn't any Christmas party like WDW. The only Christmas celebration I know of is the Candlelighting ceremony. And that's included with general admission.

The above poster is correct.....no Christmas party at DLR yet :sad1: hopefully someday.

Any day in December you will be able to see everything without a separate ticket. The Christmas parade, fireworks, and snow afterwards. There is Woody's Reindeer Roundup and Santa, IASW Holiday and HM Holiday overlays, cookie decorating and so on. So just come and enjoy! But if you come about the week before Christmas and after...........beware!!!!!!!! The crowds are pretty scary! :scared1:

Thank you all for the help. I guess I was recalling incorrectly thinking there had been a separate event last year.

Actually I don't think that would be a good thing! That would mean closing DL down early, and that would not go over very well when everything is in full swing. From my experience in going to WDW over Christmas, we were very dissapointed in not being able to see all of the extra holiday stuff unless we had the separate ticket. For my family of 9 at the time, that would have cost about 400.00 dollars more. So I'm happy that with just my admission ticket, I can see everything for free!

You're right about the park closing down early.....I didn't think of that. :)
