Christmas party staying after 7 ticketless

28 parties and I have NEVER seen a single guest actually escorted from the park. Pointed to the exit and asked to leave, yes, many times, but escorted to the gate and watching them leave, no.

Maybe not right at 7pm..but there's been many reports of people being escorted out as to not try to get back into the crowd and stay inside

Last year at the Christmas party we were asked I would guess about 10 times by different cm's to show wristband while we waited for the parade.

That's pretty funny about CM stopping people from going to the bathroom. Sad though that people would try to hide out in there. Who knew.

Haha wow

Surely as you exit the restroom would be enough , if you want to spend the party ticketless in a loo you hardly going have a great night and pretty smelly one

People don't want to spend the night ticketless in the loo. They want to hide out there for a while thinking the band inspections let up a bit for the night.

We went upstairs to the train station to watch the Christmas parade once, so it was around 8:15. We wanted a railing spot, but those were all occupied. Then a CM came up and the 2 girls in front of us, sitting in chairs with perfect viewing spots, got up and ran down the opposite stairs. I didn't notice if anyone chased them, as I was too busy laughing and claiming my front row chair. If they hadn't kept checking like that, I (having paid top dollar for our tickets) would have spent the parade standing behind cheaters who didn't pay a cent.

We have seen lines of people escorted out with a CM in the lead with a sign. I believe that was from restaurants.

We had dinner last night in MK and left about 7:10.....no one asked to see a band, but there were rope blocked off areas with CMs standing by.
DH did stop at the rest room with no problem.

the sold out Halloween party on the 30th, we had bands checked about every 2 minutes he entire night. Only checked during the parade every 30 seconds during first Christmas party but it was much less crowded so you can see bands without asking to see them.

I've seen them create a blockade of castmembers and not let anyone without a band through and sent those without to stand with another cast member to be escorted out.

I've also seen some guy almost punch a cast member when he was told to leave after he had waited on the curb for the parade with his family without buying tickets.

Poor guy. He had probably invested a lot of time sitting there.

We were at MK on the 8th (2nd night of Christmas party) and left right after 7 from getting off Peter Pan. They had roped off areas only people with bands could go. We were never asked to show our arms but we didn't try to go into the off limit areas, we just headed out. They seemed to be policing Main St well so I'm sure if you try to hang around without a band they would catch you.

That has been our experience in the past. They put 2 CM's holding a rope across the entrance to each land. To enter any land you had to show your band.

I actually think they do a pretty decent job with it all.

I imagine that nobody thinks their have a right to stay without a ticket but a few want to try it on and most really are obvous that the normal park hours are over, some people live in dream world on holiday.

I've been to two Christmas parties and a Halloween party. Before 7:00 even rolls around, there are announcements that the park is closing at 7:00 for a ticketed event. At 7:00 there is another announcement that the park is closed except for those who have a ticket for the event and all others must leave or or purchase a ticket if there are any available. I don't see how anyone could be oblivious enough to miss those announcements.

The well-documented medical condition known as "selective hearing."

;)

Last time we were there we had a LTT reservation at 6:30. After we were done, we went to leave as the parade was going by. The CMs had locked the front door and were standing in front of it and holding big pieces of cardboard in front of the windows so that we couldn't see the parade as it passed by. After it was past, a CM lead our group from LTT all the way to the park exit.

Well, that's a little over the top.

But man, that dinner must have been pretty long to still be going on during the parade.

I would doubt that the CMs are rudely removing people but I know that they consistently ask guests to see wristbands and ask them to leave if they don't have one. At best, the non-ticketed guest gets the hint pretty quickly or, at worst, non-ticketed guests get so annoyed at the constant asking that they simply leave. Of course, there are always the cruddy ones who try to get away with stuff but I can't imagine there are very many CMs who will cause a scene when dealing with the cruddy people.

I'm assuming that's Security's Job - they'll inform them of guests who are not complying.

While in Magic Kingdom today I was explaining to wife about mickeys Christmas party and that's why it was closing at 7pm and she said could you not stay in just watch the parade and it got me thinking. I know your stopped from going on rides and in shops but
1, are you challenged for wrist bands just walking around?
2. Are you escorted out or politely asked to leave?
Just curios
1 & 2, Yes you are. To both

Rudely? No, of course not. Politely steered towards the entrance, told you can't continue deeper in the park? Yes.
