Christmas party gift ideas help needed please

We will be going to my DH's firm Xmas party tomorrow night and this year they are doing it a little differently. Each person is asked to bring a wrapped gift (value $15 or so) for each person attending. These gifts don't necessarily need to be gag gifts, but the more novel and original the gift is, the more entertaining it will be. Does anyone have any ideas for me? A "novel, original" gift ? I would greatly appreciate any ideas. I'm so not good at coming up with creative gift ideas.

I went to a Christmas party last Saturday for my color guard. We had to bring one gift worth about 15$ and we did this weird, fun little exchange thing. Anyways, I got 2 gift cards (one 10$ one from Starbucks and a 5$ one from a local coffee shop) I then filled a box with those little tiny pieces of Hershy candy (you know, the bag with the assortment of small Hershey bars, Reese's cups, Hershey kisses, etc.) and hid the giftcards inside a little envelope inside the box. You can do something like that. My friend LOVED it. Of course, she is very hyper all the time and I kind of regretted letting her get it. Like she needs all the extra sugar and caffeine. LOL.

Does IL have a lottery? Scratch tickets are always a big hit at our swaps.

Thanks so much simba928 & mickeyboat. Yes, IL does have lottery. GREAT ideas from both of you. My DH & I both need to bring a gift so I think I'm going to do each of your ideas! I didn't even think of anything like these ideas! See, I told ya I'm not creative! Thanks again!

I went to a christmas party last week and it was alot of fun. we did a gift exchange and i got one of my best friends gifts. she filled it with candy and then put two giftcards to two different coffee houses. i think its the best christmas gift i've ever gotten.
