Christmas Party Dessert Party

Has anyone done this? Is the Christmas party crowded enough that you can't get a good spot to watch the Holiday Wishes fireworks? I already spent so much on the party tickets, don't know if I can stomach paying more for a dessert party during the party (also would take away from the actual party stuff??)

We did it last year and I wouldn't do it again unless it included parade viewing as well. We had a nice spot to watch the fireworks, but it was nothing we couldn't have gotten on our own if we had simply moved into the hub after the first parade ended. You also don't really need to be that close to the castle as the projections aren't that spectacular. We once watched Holiday Wishes all the way at the end of Main St. near the candy shop and it was still beautiful. I would do the dessert party for HEA, but wouldn't do it for Holiday Wishes. Again, if they included a reserved parade area, that's a different story and then I would consider it again.

This. HEA has a lot of projections so you want to be pretty close to the castle to see them. Wishes we love from anywhere in the park.
