Christmas Park Quest listed for DLR.

Thanks for the tip!

The page says "Disneyland Exclusive", so it looks like there won't be a holiday quest at WDW this year.

And, from the tiny pictures, it looks like they're giving out the same exact cards as they gave last year? I wonder if they even have the same September 30 expiration date printed on them?

EL, please, we have to keep a positive attitude (and don't say, "there positively won't be a WDW quest this year."). We have to believe that Yavn and crew wouldn't do that to us!

Oh, please let there be a WDW quest!

You're welcome.

I'm sure they'll have a WDW Quest, they just haven't updated it yet. I think by Exclusive they mean the version with the Gold Snowman is only at DLR. And then there will be an Exclusive Quest for WDW with Whitey.

Are they the same cards? I wasn't around last year. I traded my my second born for the 2 of each white and gold snowmen, blue wreath and soldier I have already, but I'm still happy to get to take the quest and get more. I am a little disappointed about Goldie returning - I honestly didn't see that, expecting him to stay retired since the 50th is long since over. Ah well, that's cool.

Woot we get a quest! Sorry for those of you close to WDW, but woot! Now I can get a stitch hat and christmas items!!!

just to let everyone know, WDW WILL have a holiday quest as Mentioned in the newsletter.....its just a matter of when it starts....so dont worry, WDW will have a holiday quest!!

Disneyland gets all the holiday stuff and we don't. They had the Halloween quest and now they have Christmas. When are we going to get some other exclusive quests other than Thrill Seakers Quest.

I thought about it a little more: I bet they are waiting on the quest after today when they are filming the Christmas Parade. I'm sure they don't want a bunch of people running around Main Street looking at the quest stuff and they are on it trying to film the parade. I know that Yavn has said that the quest will be returning to both DL and MK.

My VMK wish for the holidays (now that we got some Chanukkah stuff):
Please please please let's not have the DLR vs. WDW arguement AGAIN. Those of us at DLR feel WDW gets extras those at WDW believe DLR gets the extras.

Let's just be happy we are near 1 of the parks and can get anything? Please.....

Write to VMK and complain about the lack of WDW quest, it's the only way they might change it.

I was curious about this, so I went to the VMK Reward Cards page...

Aside from the 'tradeoff' cards (like, DL gets the Magic Mirror while WDW gets the Wanted Poster, or the white vs. gold snowman), here are the 'extras' that each park has gotten:

WDW:
Thrill Seekers Quest Pin
Kali River Rapids Couch
Animal Kingdom Safari Room

DLR:
50th Celebration Quest Pin
50th Celebration Director's CHair
50th Celebration Mickey Lantern
Stitch Hat
Stitch Pin
Stitch Trunk
Golden Door Teleporter
Adventureland Quest Pin
Animator's Desk
Halloween Mickey Pumpkin

And I hope that should put this argument to rest. ;)

Here Here.. oh and you forgot that WDW is the only park that has the ever-rare Wanted Poster :rotfl2: :lmao:

Uh - the 3 stitch items are not a quest item. Although I go to DLR weekly, I cannot get those items unless I book a trip from out of town to come in town. Again, not quest items, so not relevent to the discussion.

And I will trade ANYONE (first person to offer only) a 50th chair, a 50th lamp, and a 50th pin for their Animal Kingdom room and a full Kali couch.

It's not the quantity of the items that counts.....

And my offer stands for anyone out there that feels "cheated" at WDW:

I will trade the first person who responds my Full 50th quest (3 items) for your Full Thrill Seekers quest (2 items)

I thought Thrill Seekers quest was three items (Room, Kali, and a Pin)... ;)

And speaking of trade offs - Anyone from WDW interested in trading one of my Gold Snowmen for their extra White Snowman?

Yay I got my Holiday Quest yesterday at DLR. I find it funny that the new quest is using the same old cards... Same set number... same expiration date (Sept 20, 2006). Heh.
