I thought I read somewhere that they film the Christmas Parade the first weekend in December--is this right? If so, is it Saturda or Sunday? Can anyone in the park attend or do they close it off so that only chosen people can get in? If it is open to everyone, is it worth attending or is it more crowded and stressful than it is worth?

I'm pretty sure they filmed Wednesday through Friday this past Christmas. They start pretty early, and it's a lot of standing around and waiting. We love being in the MK on taping mornings, because all the lines are super short or non-existant!

I think the main taping was on Saturday last year. Anyone can get in. It's not as fun as it sounds, it doesn't run like a regular parade. They film each float separately, repeat it, etc. It takes hours, not 20 or 30 minutes like a regular parade.
