Christmas Parade

Has anyone heard yet when the Christmas Parade is being taped? I watch it on TV every year on Christmas morning and I am psyched that we will be in Disney 12/2-12/8. I'm hoping that is the week it will be taped.

It is usually the first weekend in Dec. It doesn't flow like a regular parade. They may tape one float or act over and over.

The crowd control is usually a lot more strict than usual.

You mean it's not live? What exactly happens on Christmas Day then?

They splice the footage together so that it looks like everything was perfect from start to finish.

There is a Christmas themed parade in the MK Christmas week. It is the parade that they use for MVMCP.

We were there in 2002 when it was taped....we sat in MK on the hub for about 7hrs and watched them tape.....when we left they weren't even finished.

We were without kids that year though... I had a great time...even got some fleeting moments on national TV...

If they follow the historical trend it should be taped on Dec 4th...but you never know...

They run the Christmas Parade at 2:00pm from 12/18 to 12/31. They run the tape from earlier in the month for TV.
