Well now that they've changed the dates for the taping, I'm not sure what to think! But we will make the best of it. We plan to be at MK anyway on December 9th for the MVMCP that night. I know my DD (12) will be thrilled to watch the taping as she has always wanted to be there for it. Any suggestions on getting the best views of the parade and/or performances? I'm sure she will gladly skip many rides for this!

Thanks!

Everything takes place on Main Street and/or the castle hub.
The TV show's production assistants out on the street will tell you where you are allowed to stand.

All I can say about watching "the parade" is... be careful what you wish for.

From what I've read here from people that have done it, it is a LONG and tedious day. Extremely boring watching the same thing over and over and over.

I've heard that watching the taping isn't as exciting as everyone would think - but please try to convince DD of that ;)

I've done it a few years; and still pretty much enjoy the experience. Like others have said, it's not really "fun" though. There's a lot of just standing around and waiting. Watching the musical guests is a little more pleasant. At least that part doesn't always go so slow.

I remember when the Jonas Brothers were last there though. The whole hub in front of the castle was packed. But because there was so much to film with them, people started leaving the area. They eventually started begging more people to fill in the empty spots. I started way in the back at the start of taping, and soon easily made my way almost to the front. It's not always that bad though.
