Christmas parade taping date?

I seem to recall that it is within the first week of December, but does anyone know the official date?

Usually it is the first Friday and Saturday of December. But, if it is raining they will change the dates.

Just be aware of the expectations. There is a lot of set up and prep time. They will stop, start, stop, restart just to make sure they get the shots they need. It isn't like they just run the parade through one time. It really congests the mainstreet are, but the rest of the park is generally easy enough to navigate.

I have a friend who lives near Disney who is very interested in attending the taping. Is there a sign up list for her to fill out?

Thank you for the heads up about the stopping and starting, I told her about that and she still wants to go to the taping. lol

MK is opened as normal, just the parade going back and forth really slow all day for up to 4 days.

Last year it was the first weekend and only pushed 2 days. They are ready to film at the start of december and once they have a couple days of good weather, it happens. Watch the blogs, that's how I learned when it was and we just happened to catch a couple hours the first day last year (which was our last day at wdw).

None that I am aware of. Just wear green and red and Disney items.
