So it appears that the annual Christmas parade taping is set for November 3rd this year. We will be arriving in California that day, spending the night near Disneyland before our Wonder cruise. We are not going to the parks, but I know previous years have featured performances at the Grand Californian. Does anyone know where to find a schedule for this year's performances? Do we need tickets? Do we have to wear holiday colors? It would just be a special treat to me, since the Disney parade is such a huge part of our family Christmas tradition. :santa:

Last year we were in the park(s) and it was fun but very crowded on Main street. We unforunately didn't get to see the CGH performance.
This link to post from last year may help

Kids from my daughter's dance academy will be in that parade. They're super excited for the trip!

I hope the crowd at DCA will be lower due to the taping going on at DLR. We plan to visit DCA on Nov 3rd....

I am a little confused...is only Main Street (& the castle) decorated for Christmas? or is the whole park? The Halloween Party is only 3 days before....

I read the other thread. Does anyone know about the 2012 process of getting the free tickets to watch the parade (and go about DL)?
Our current plan is to go see the shuttle in LA that Saturday to avoid the parade crowds and then visit DL on Sunday, but for more time in the park for free, I'd put on a Christmas sweater and go, then see the shuttle on Sunday.
