We are going to Disney World this Christmas and I want to be sure and see the Once Upon a Christmas Parade. Touring Plans is not showing any times for this parade yet, am I just looking too early? I have our days for MK planned (18th, 21st, and 24th) Can anyone confirm that the parade will be the Christmas one and not the Electric Parade around that time?

Thanks! :goodvibes

I dont believe Disney has released hours after about the 10th....If I remember correctly the Christmas parade and other MK christmas events, will begin free to all guest after the last Christmas party, which this year I believe is the 18th. You can either go to the party which will sell out and I dont suggest it or plan on seeing the parade on the 21st....I suggest seeing it on Main Street with the snow falling its truly magical....You will have to stake out a spot very very early during your time frame

That's the evening parade during MVMCP, and the last party date is December 18. So, after the 18th, the Once Upon a Christmas Parade will be the afternoon parade in MK.

Yes, we thought about doing the last MVMCP but decided not to this time. The 21st should be our best time to see it crowdwise if they are showing it. And I thought it was a nighttime thing too! I'm going to have to check that out. If I can get Dessert Party tickets for the 24th we would be up for seeing it on Christmas Eve for a second time, but I want to be out of the crowd if I can.

Thanks dolphindan!

If you're still talking about the PARADE, then-

A. You can't really see much of the parade from the Desert Party location. (See below.)

B. After the last MVMCP, the Christmas Parade is run in the daytime (various times during the holiday period) and either MSEP or SpectroMagic is the evening parade.

You will be at a distance of 180-220 feet (2/3 of a football field) from the parade,
with guests standing between you and the parade entries.
I've presented the areas (in blue) that are (somewhat) unobstructed by trees between the Noodle Station and the Hub area.

Thanks again Robo, I appreciate your help :goodvibes I guess my chance to see that parade then will be the afternoon of the 21st or 24th. Thats good to know, and since it's a day parade we will choose a spot over by Frontierland. I like being in front of the Castle for the nighttime events. Also still thinking about The Dessert Party on the 24th but will enjoy the fireworks from there:woohoo:
