Christmas Parade/Fireworks Timing

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to decide what time to lunch and dinner in December. Does anyone either have any recommendations or have any knowledge of what times things I might not want to miss are?

DLRP is not WDW that's why I would wait until they release the schedule for the time you visit. If it is not for Christmas or New Years Eve you don't have to book more than 2 weeks in advance. And for all other months than December, July and August you can book your table 1 day before.

And I don't think that there will be fireworks for the Christmas period in DLRP. (Except for New Years Eve) That is another big difference to WDW.

And if you are going for Lunch you will not miss anything. Candleabration, Fantillusion and the Once upon a dream Parade are not earlier than 4:00pm.

There are no fireworks over the Christmas season, only on New Years Eve as Marcus has said.

Am I right in thinking you're going over Christmas? I see the DL park is open until 10pm every night, apart from NYE. When we went for Christmas in 2005 it shut at 8pm every night (except NYE) so we were safe to make reservations for 8.15pm onwards. However, with the park open later I don't know what time Candleabration and Fantillusion will be and you won't want to miss these. It might be best starting a new thread asking if anyone can remember what time they were over Christmas/New Year period last year.
