Christmas Ornaments

We are back from our trip and I miss DLR so much already! I'm kicking myself because I forgot to let the kids pick out Christmas ornaments while we were there. I have a friend who might be going back this year that could pick some up for us, but I'd like to have a description for her of what we'd like. We had a whirlwind 3 day trip and I remember passing ornaments thinking we'd come back and look but of course we didn't have time. Would someone going in the parks soon be able to take some photos and either post them here or email or text them to me? I would be so grateful!

I didn't see a lot of Xmas ornaments yet, when I was there on 7/11-7/16. Just a generic dated one.

One of the shops on Main Street, I thought I saw a huge section of Christmas ornaments.

There is always at least a small selection of Christmas ornaments available in Disneyland. You were probably in the China Closet on Main Street. If you take a look at this official Disney Parks blog link, you can see some of the new additions that have already come out for this year:

I know I also saw a few of what I call the generic ornaments that seem to be available year round. It is indeed a little too early for the bulk of the Christmas stuff to be available. More will probably start showing up during October, overlapping a bit with the Halloween merchandise.

Not sure if you consider it less "authentic" but there are plenty of disneyland ornaments online. Have you considered doing that or is it being from DL part of the fun?

This is one of the things I love about staying in a Disney Hotel, ornament/t-shirt/souvenir complimentary hotel delivery service. When staying at one of the Disney Hotels, whenever you purchase a souvenir in either park, simply tell the CM at the register you are a Disney guest. They will hand you a short form(name, home telephone#, hotel, and room #) to fill out and the items you just purchased will be sent to the valet desk of your disney hotel for pickup the next morning( FREE ). Yes, free. Simply go to the hotel valet desk the next morning to pick up your packages. No having to carry around a souvenir the rest of the day or having to remember to go back to get something before leaving the park. Just one of the "perks" you get staying at a disney hotel....

Are they the same ones that are in the parks? Do you mean at Disneystore.com? THanks!

I looked at Disneystore.com and didn't see any that specific "Disneyland 2012" ornaments or similar. Anyone going soon that could look for me?
