Christmas or New Year's Eve?

I just talked my dh into surprising the kids to a trip to the world for their Christmas Present. Well, my dh was thinking we would be there for Christmas day, but I was thinking we would be home for Christmas and spend New Year's Eve there. Now we are undecided. If we went for Christmas day we would go from Wed (before Christmas) to Wed. If we went for New Year's Eve we would go from Mon (after Christmas) to Mon. Can I get some opinions from everyone? Thank You so much!!

I don't have any advice for you but we'll be there wed to wed. This is our first christmas trip and I'm just so excited about it!!!!!! The crowds are going to be crazy but I think as long as we're prepared for it we'll be alright.

When we took our Christmas trip, we went the week before Christmas until the day after Christmas Day. The week before, the crowds were not to bad, but Christmas Day was like something I have NEVER seen at Disney...........CRAZY!!

New Years EVE is NUTS at the parks. As long as you go knowing the parks will be Nuts till around the 4th of Jan you will be ok though.
