Those of you with reservations that run from the end of december into January... call and see if you can break your reservation into 2 separate ones. A new pricing season begins on Jan 1,... it becomes value season... so lets say you are staying at Pop from 12/26 - 1/5 you should see if they can split your ressie into 12/26-1/1 then 1/1-1/5 You will save a ton of money because your price for your stay is based upon the price of the first night you check in through the end of your stay. BE VERY CAREFUL though to make sure the CM does not lose your original ressie while they attempting to change it and you get stuck with no room at all!
I just booked my nights for 12/30-1/1 and then 1/1-1/8 and rooms are still available.
Just thought I would see if I could help save someone some money!
Good luck!

But, if you go with the right attitude and a plan, you can beat the crowds. The best advice I can offer having been 3 times over the holidays is to get to the parks as soon as they open and make dining reservations far in advance.

so if you see four people that match our description in no hurry whatsoever that'll probably be us...come say hi!!!!
We'll be doing a split-stay between the GF & BWV Dec. 14th-28th! Next time we'll have to try NYE, too. I hope everyone has a magical holiday vacation in WDW!
