Christmas & My Happy Place Equals Perfection. - A Dec 2011 PTR

Glad you were able to catch it before it got too bad - or even worse while you are on vacation... I can't even imagine flying with an ear infection - that would be horribly painful.

I hope Little J is feeling better soon, so you can have a worry free vacation. :)

Thanks girls.

Tonight I am working on the skirt and Js blanket. I may try to stay up late and get things done. I am also going to try and find my card reader adapter.

The blanket is done and the skirt is started. I am so excited.

I have to finish the skirt. 2 more accessory chargers and I want to make a shirt and pair of embellished capris for me for our trip.

So I am at somewhat of a stand still with the skirt because C told me no ric rac but I found ric rac that matches the skirt so I want to double check before I do the hem band. I have about another 2 hours on the skirt and it is done.

I went and bought a new adapter so I can post pictures again

Here is what I did over the weekend.

The new shirt for the Princess Skirt we are reusing. I love this outfit almost as much as the Country Outfit.

Here are the charging stations I did over the weekend as gifts

and lastly the new shirt for last years Christmas skirt we are bringing.

(if I get a chance I will do topstitching)

Well I am off to get C from the bus and we are getting haircuts.

Everything looks great. I think it's wonderful that you can reuse skirts. When I see the number of hours that go in to some outfits I think I'd want them to be worn weekly -- and twice on Sundays.

Can't believe you'll be in sunny Florida soon. Here it is the first day of winter and I'm already soooooo tired of being cold. Of course, it's my fault because I keep the temp in the house so low.

Everything looks great. Love the fabrics on the princess set and the christmas skirt looks great with that new t-shirt.

HAVE A GREAT TRIP!!

Thanks for the trip wishes. I am so happy right now I finished the Christmas Skirt. YEP I did. I will take pictures tomorrow but I am officially done with what has to be DONE.

I think I am going to enjoy tomorrow and do nothing but pack and clean.

Okay D the charging stations are an in the hoop project from Heather Sue. YOu plug your electronic device in the wall thru the hole and the bag hangs down. I am going to try one when I get home from Disney that is slightly larger. They took about a half hour to do on the embroidery machine.. I also want to do one because I want it to have pockets for a cell phone, i pod and camera LOL

Interesting... Now I am curious to see how that would work for our stuff??? Because all of our chargers are huge, so are they big enough to hold the electronics and all that extra cord? They are super cute - and I really love the idea! :lovestruc

I love the blanket and the message.

The skirt is over the top amazing! I hope it fits for many years and then you have a bevy of granddaughters who can enjoy it for another 20 or so years.

Amazing!!!

That skirt is adorable! It would make a cute tree skirt when she outgrows it:idea:
