Christmas must sees and must dos?

Hi everyone. I hope I'm posting this in the correct place. My hubby and I were able to fit in going to WDW for 4 days in December. I'm really excited because the last time I was there for the Christmas festivities I was 1. So needless to say I don't remember anything. I was hoping for some advice on must do's. We already have our tickets for MVMCP. I'm so excited about that. I've also heard the Osbourne lights are something to see. I really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance!

go to the GF to see the gingerbread house, and if you have time visit some of the other resorts to see their trees and decorations. the MK and EP resorts have lots of nice decorations and it puts you in the holiday spirit!

never been to MVMCP, but i've heard it's awesome. hope you guys have a blast!!

My favorites are

Illuminations (with the holiday ending)
Castle lighting ceremony at MK in the evening
Osborne Lights at DHS
Seeing all the resorts decorated for the holidays. We sometimes spend about half a day riding the monorail to see the resort decorations. Other visits, we walk around the EPCOT resorts (BC, YC & BW as well as the Swan/Dolphin) to see those decorations.
I'm not a big Candlelight Processional fan but it is extremely popular. It is a long wait if you don't have dining reservations. I don't bother with the seats but sit out by the American Adventure and just listen.

Generally, I try to slow down and just enjoy my DW's company.

Oh wow I didn't know that Illuminations had a different ending during this time. I will have to make sure to get a good spot! Thanks for all the great advice! So the candlelight processional is just them telling the story of Christmas? Doesn't sound like a must see. However if anyone thinks differently please let me know. I'm trying to soak up as much Disney Christmas fun as possible in little time.

Also I know they decorate Downtown Disney for Christmas. Do they do anything special there worth noting? thanks!

It's our first time in WDW at Christmas as well, and I'm surprising the family with both Candlelight Processional and MK Fireworks Dessert PartyWe've seen the fireworks over the years from about everywhere in the park, but never with delicious desserts on a plate with the best seat in the house

Epcot: Candlelight Processional, Illuminations with holiday ending, World showcase storytellers.
MK: MVMCP (2nd parade is less crowded), Castle lighting ceremony,
HS: Osbourne lights
AK: has it's own uniqueness. character trees in camp Mickey / Minnie, the parade.

The resorts:
We jump on the monorail and enjoy those resorts. GF is the best with the gingerbread house. It is a must see.
We love Wilderness lodge decorations.
Love AKL decorations
Epcot Resorts don't miss. BC & YC chocolate carousel is amazing. Again BW has it's own uniqueness.
Don't miss Swan & Dolphin. Swan I believe had a poinsettia tree in the lobby that was just beautiful.

We make some ADR's at resorts just to take in all the decorations.

I really enjoyed the giant Mickey Christmas Wreath at the Comtemporary. They had a gingerbread tree that was nice.

I stayed at Jambo House AKL and the tree was amazing.

Hands down though GF and WL are so relaxing to just sit and sip hot cocoa though and take in the people and holiday spirits.

I'm so excited! I can't wait to go see all these wonderful things. 2 days! I'm hoping it'll get me in the Christmas mood. For some reason this year I'm not feeling it yet.
