I know that in the past Citricos and Narcoossee's have offered specialized menus for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Does anyone know if they did this last year? Thanks in advance!

Not sure if they did it last year, but called Disney Dining on Thursday and they said there would be special menu's for both places on Christmas. They haven't posted them yet, but if you call, they will tell you what is on the menu.

Thanks! I have gotten menus from them before. I don't know why I didn't think of it tonight. :goodvibes

We are dining at Citricos on Christmas Eve and California Grill for Christmas. The Castmembers have told me that they show that a special menu will be offered, but the screen is blank right now.

Even better to know this now. I am making my ADRs in the morning and I was worried about the menus. I guess it really doesn't matter at this point. Hopefully I can tweak it later if we are unhappy with the offerings. Thanks very much! :goodvibes

That seems odd. The agent that I spoke with was able to give me details on WCC. I wonder if they only posted a couple of the restaurants. Not sure what they are waiting for...lots of "lucky" people are able to book their Christmas dinners now. I can't book until next Saturday. Hoping there is something left for us. :rolleyes1

What did she say they will be serving?
I was one of the lucky ones that have been able to make ADRs for Christmas and we will be eating at WCC. :rolleyes1

I couldn't get a dinner ressie due to the scheduling conflicts but I snagged a 12:00 noon ressier at WCC. What is the special menu? Did the CM tell you if the menu was offered at lunchtime too or just dinner?:goodvibes

Just an FYI be careful of the menus they give you. Last year I was told 2 different things and it ended up being neither. We did WCC last year for Christmas dinner and was told at first that there was a special skillet but entire menu was available. At the time they did not know what it was for the skillet. Then while in disney we went to the front desk to ask again about the menu for WCC and was told special skillet and the items in it and the entire menu. Got to WCC and the skillet items were different then what I was told a few hours before and it was a preset skillet only menu. It ended up being really yummy, with the exception of dessert. But just be warned that what you are told might not be what it really is. I learned that what we were told at the desk of the hotel was actually the year befores skillet.

We did enjoy the meal though and loved the ambiance of being at WCC on Christmas.

what was in the skillet??? was it lunch and dinner for the special "skillet only" menu?

We went for dinner. So I have no clue what they had for lunch. THe skillet had turkey, brisket, pork, and chicken along with mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, and some cranberry relish like thing. You also got a salad and dessert was a really dry yule log, kinda like a big dry swiss cake roll. The skillet was really good though. My DH loved the brisket and the turkey was pretty good as well.
